This wedding was a special one for me, I have known the bride forever. Our moms worked together way back and our families became good family friends. When Theresa & Curt finally got engaged I was so honored to be asked to be the photographer for the wedding. This day was a very long time coming, a few years back Curt had some health issues and two & half years ago was so lucky to receive a kidney transplant and now is doing amazingly. So once Curt got his clean bill of health we all knew this day would be here soon.
I was so excited to head to Montana for a wedding that we planned a little mini vacation before the wedding. Once the day finally got here it was a bit stormy but the weather gods were in our favor and it was a perfect fall day! Theresa wanted to do a first look with both her dad and Curt. So first we did the first look with her dad which was so sweet, then we headed down to the spot where they would be having their ceremony for Curt’s turn to see Theresa for the first time in her dress. It was super sweet and a special moment. It was a great day and I felt so honored to be part of their day. Congratulation to Theresa & Curt, your wedding at The Barn at Finley Point was perfect!

So many special moments recorded during this beautiful Montana wedding that it’s hard to pick just a few to highlight. I love the series of the bride and her soon to be groom during their first look; those first few moments when the groom gets to see his bride in all of her glory show so much happiness. Theresa picked out some cute brides maid dresses, too! I love the extra touch of personality in their boots, which was fitting for a wedding at The Barn at Finley Point!
