Are you insured?

Yes I am, and can provide Certificates of insurance to any venues who require them.

What is required to book a wedding with you?

A non-refundable retainer of half of your package price and a signed contract by both members of the couple lock in your wedding date. 

What kind of payments do you take?

I accept all major credit cards, cash and checks made out to Jenny Storment Photography.

How long do you keep our images?

I keep all original images from events, weddings & session for 2 years then they are deleted. But keep a high resolution jpeg version for 10 years on the cloud. 

How do you deliver our images?

Whether you’re one of my portrait clients or couples getting married, I deliver your photos the same way: through my client lounge. This cloud-based viewing/delivery gallery allows you to mark your favorite images  and download one image at a time or your entire gallery with one click of the mouse. 

How many photos do we get from our wedding?

It really all depends on your day, if you have only myself or two photographers, if you have a large number of formal family photos, if we have lots of time for bride and groom photos. I give between 60-100 per hour, so most of my couples end up between 400-800 photos.

How much editing do you do to my images?

All photographers do their best to nail the shot in camera which helps cut down on editing. All my images get color corrections and some light touch ups if needed. If more drastic retouching is needed it is available for an additional fee.

Can I get all my images?

After shooting your session, wedding or event I go through and edit down your images to the professional standard that I give to my clients for a final product. Images that don’t make this standard include: closed eyes, bad smiles, out of focus images. All of these images are deleted immediately after going through your session. You’ll get the rest!

How long does it take for me to get my images?

I love sharing images as I work through your session or wedding, so you will always get a few sneak peeks from me on the day of or a couple days following your session or wedding. For your final set of images, my turnaround time depends on the time of year and my work load. Most portrait sessions are finished within two weeks, and weddings are usually finished in six to eight weeks.

Will I have print rights to my photos?

All my clients receive a print release from me giving you the rights to print your images for personal use only. This release will allow you to print your images at any printing service or print house in the world as you desire. This does not include editing or altering your final images you receive.

Where do you recommend getting our images printed at?

I always recommend either ordering prints directly with me. Another print house I recommend that the general public can order from is Mpix.com there quality is great. Places I DON’T recommend: any print station located inside an actual store, Costco, Walmart or Shutterfly. These locations use cheap paper and their machines are not calibrated for correct color.

Where are you located and do you travel?

I’m based out of my home in Tacoma, WA. I travel up to 50 miles from 98405 without a travel fee. This will normally cover from Olympia to Seattle. Yes I do travel, I would love to shoot your destination wedding or event!
