Golden Gardens is one of those hidden gems in Seattle and such a great place for an engagement session. I have done a couple of sessions now at Golden Gardens but I have to say I love Jin & Derek’s one from last month! Jin & Derek met while working at a coffee shop while in college and now are tieing the knot at the beautiful Lodge at Trinity Tree Farm later this summer which I can’t wait for!

When we started planning their engagement session the couple really wanted to do a location in Seattle so after scouting around at different parks they decided on Golden Gardens for the engagement session which I thought was a perfect choice! April ended up being a pretty wet month but I lucked out that both my engagement session earlier in the month ended up not having to be rescheduled due to weather including this one. I did get a little worried as I headed up to Golden Gardens since the weather had been sunny in Tacoma but was cloudy and looked like rain in Seattle. Thankfully the rain held off till we were done!
