Frequently Asked Questions
What if you haven’t shot at my venue?
Don’t worry I always arrive early on the wedding day and if possible I will do a venue walk through depending on the location and time of year (summer is a busy time). This is why you are hiring me I am a professional with over 100 weddings documented I can handle any lighting or venue situation thrown at me!
What if something happens and you can’t make it to my wedding?
I am a professional and in the unlikely event that was to happen, I have a pool of photographers I can reach out to for a backup.
What is included in your wedding coverage?
All weddings & elopement include the final high-resolution images (60-100 images per hour hired), online gallery for downloading and view images & personal print release.
What is a Personal Print Release?
All my clients receive a personal print release from me giving you the rights to print your images for personal use only. This release will allow you to print your images at any printing service or print house you desire. This release does not give you the rights to re-edit or make money off your photos, I still own the actual copyright of your images. Cropping for print is ALLOWED.
Can I share these my photos on social media or with family and friends?
YES! Once you get your images downloaded from your online gallery they are yours to share on social media, with family, friends and to print! I highly recommend not leaving your beautiful images just on your computer! The gallery is up for 10 years and you & your spouse will be allowed to download the images as many times as you want!
Where do you recommend getting our images printed at?
I always recommend either ordering prints directly with me. Another print house I recommend that the general public can order from is Mpix.com their quality is great. Places I DON’T recommend any print station located inside an actual store, Costco, Wal-Mart or Shutterfly. These locations use cheap paper and their machines are not calibrated for correct color.
Do your packages include engagement sessions?
Yes, all my normal wedding packages include an engagement session, I love doing engagement session it’s a great way for us to get to know one other and for you both to feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Do you offer Albums?
Yes, I offer albums here is more information about my albums I offer.
How would you describe your style?
Personally, I would describe my style as classic, authentic, fun and romantic. I believe that classic trumps trendy always and getting those authentic moments during your wedding day are so important!
Can I see a whole wedding that you have documented?
Yes please check out my blog, I try to blog most of my weddings I am hired for. If you are looking for something more specific please reach out to me directly for an entire client gallery.
What retouching do you do to our photos?
All photographers do their best to nail the shot in camera which helps cut down on editing. All my images get color corrections and some light touch-ups if needed. Any other retouching such making body parts look smaller are not true to the day and if you want heavy Photoshop work then I am not the right photographer for you.

Currently, as of September 2018, I have shot well over 100 weddings in the past 4 years. I try to document between 20-25 weddings and elopement a year.

How long do you keep our images?
I keep all final delivered RAWs from events, weddings & session for 2 years then they are deleted. But I also keep a high-resolution jpeg version for 10 years on the cloud.
How do you deliver our images?
Whether you’re one of my portrait clients or couples getting married, I deliver your photos the same way: through my client lounge. This cloud-based viewing/delivery gallery allows you to mark your favorite images and download one image at a time or your entire gallery with one click of the mouse.
How many photos do we get from our wedding?
It really all depends on your day, if you have only myself or two photographers if you have a large number of formal family photos if we have lots of time for bride and groom photos. I give between 60-100 per hour, so most of my couples end up with 400-800 photos.
Can I get all my images?
After shooting your session, wedding or event I go through and edit down your images to the professional standard that I give to my clients for a final product. Images that don’t make this standard include closed eyes, bad smiles, out of focus images. All of these images are deleted immediately after going through your session. You’ll get the rest!
How long does it take for me to get my images?
I love sharing images as I work through your session or wedding, so you will always get a few sneak peeks from me on the day of or a couple of days following your session or wedding. For your final set of images, my turnaround time depends on the time of year and my workload. Most portrait sessions are finished within two weeks, and weddings are usually finished in six to eight weeks.

Yes, I am willing to be a witness if you don’t have enough people at your elopement.
