When approached by Theresa to do her & fiance Corey’s engagement session I jumped at the chance to photography this beautiful couple! I have known Theresa since high school and she is engaged to Corey who at the time was deployed to Afghanistan. This session was happen back in August when Corey was home on leave for 2 weeks. Theresa wanted a rustic country feel to their session since they are getting married at Red Studio Barn in March of next year. So I suggested one of my favorite places to shoot Fort Steilacoom Park located in Lakewood, WA. We arranged to do the session on the morning of Seattle Seahawk’s preseason game before they headed up to the game. To date this is one of my favorite engagement sessions! I loved that I could capture their love for each other in these photos. I am seriously excited for their wedding next year. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for no rain!

This is one of my favorite shots ever of a ring! I think Theresa & Corey thought I was crazy when I got down to lay on the ground below them to get this shot!
I love when couples bring props or extra outfits. Since Theresa & Corey were heading up to the game we took a few pictures in their jerseys.
