Last Labor Day Weekend I headed to Polson, Montana to work with the amazing Lindsey Denman Photography again on a wedding in Ronan, Montana at Sky Ridge Ranch. Sarah & Luke choose to have their wedding in Montana because that is where Luke was from and they wanted to make their wedding a huge party for their friends and family. One thing Sarah & Luke were pretty set on was having the ceremony outside but mother nature kept threatening with rain all day. But somehow magically it stopped raining for their first look at the KwaTaqNuk Resort right on Flathead Lake. It was such a special moment when Luke saw Sarah for the first time in her dress right on the dock. Then we headed to the Sky Ridge Ranch for their ceremony & reception, after their very sweet ceremony with personal vows the sky opened up again and started to rain. Again it was amazing how mother nature seem to work out and giving us breaks in the weather. After dinner and toasts it was time for the first dance, which was sung by a friend of the couples’ a song that he wrote for them, such a sweet moment for sure! Then it was time to party with some great country music and lots of dancing!

I love how your images start inside. The shot of the bridesmaids on the bed is so much fun! Then, wow! What an amazing view of Flathead lake. Ronan, Montana at Sky Ridge Ranch is absolutely stunning. The table setting is divine and and the part looks like it was a blast!

Jenny, you did such a fantastic job on this Flathead Lake wedding! The images of the first look are stunning with the lake in the background. So glad the weather decided to hold out for you for those images. Another of my favorites is the wide angle shot you got of the barn. The decorations with the chandelier and the wispy fabric is gorgeous.

Oh my, those “first look” images sent chills down my back. Those are absolutely stunning. So glad the rains stopped to allow that perfect moment…obviously was meant to be. And their wedding at Sky Ridge Ranch is just gorgeous. Everything about this wedding is beautiful and you have done an amazing job capturing it all. These all need to go into an album for this couple to remember.
Autumn in Montana can certainly be iffy for weather. I am so glad the rain held off for these two. What a beautiful wedding, both inside and out! Flathead Lake offered so much variety for beautiful indoor and outdoor wedding portraits too!

these photos take my breath away. they are so lovely. okay, the photos at the lake and dock are beyond amazing and sky ridge ranch in montana is the most fun location for this bride that loves country. breath-taking. that’s my word for this.
Even though it looks like a wet day for a Montana wedding, it doesn’t look like it slowed this couple down one bit. Those First Look images were so sweet and the drop with the lake and dock with the mountains behind them made for dramatic art pieces! I know this bride and groom have to be over the moon about their wedding photos!
