Jimmy & Jaime’s Seattle wedding was a fun one and the couple decided to have a northwest-themed wedding. The couple got married at the Seattle Waterfront Marriott located right on Alaska Way on the Seattle waterfront. Jimmy & Jaime decided not to do a first look and really wanted to wait to see each other till the walk down the aisle. But before we could do the ceremony they had to make it official. So their officiant went to the two rooms that Jimmy & Jaime were getting ready in and with their witness, had them make their marriage official since we were heading up to the Pike Place Market right after the ceremony to do the bride and groom portraits.

After it was official on paper it was time to make it official with the ceremony. It was a great ceremony right in the front courtyard of the Seattle Waterfront Marriott. Thankfully it was a beautiful September day because no matter what Jaime had told me their ceremony would have been outside since their wedding was a northwest themed. After I do’s it was time to head up to the market for their bride and groom portraits. Jimmy & Jaime’s only request for portraits was to do them at the Pike Place Market & in front of the market sign. Even though it was a Saturday and a pretty busy day it worked out and we got some amazing photos in the market including one right in front of the Pike Place Market sign I just love.

We headed back to the Seattle Waterfront Marriott for their reception at Hook & Plow where all their friends and family were waiting to get their party going. After some amazing dinner from Hook & Plow it was time for speeches, dances & to cut their donut from Legendary Doughnuts. This was definitely a first with a giant doughnut at a wedding and I am all for this trend taking off because I love doughnuts!!!!! They also had custom Jones Sode bottles as wedding favors which is very Seattle since Jones Soda is based in Seattle fitting in with their Seattle themed wedding. Jimmy & Jaime’s Seattle Wedding was so much fun and I hope to do more Seattle weddings in the upcoming seasons!
