If you remember these two from over the summer you know after I did Kristin & Tanner’s engagement session I was so pumped for their wedding. The couple had told me it was so important for their wedding to be all about their friends & family and having a big party to celebrate their wedding since these two had been together since high school! For their wedding at Historic 1625 Tacoma Place, the couple chooses to wait to see each other until the ceremony. Which made it very important that their guest were present for this important moment so the Kristin & Tanner ask for an unplugged ceremony which I highly recommend especially when this is the first time the couple has seen each other on their wedding day.
Because Historic 1625 Tacoma Place is an indoor venue it on the darker side so knowing off-camera flash is key for this venue. Because capturing this very important moment of Kristin and Tanner seeing each other before tying the knot it was important I got it right. So, of course, Tanner cried when he saw Kristin walking down the aisle with her dad. It was such a special moment to be part of. The couple had a close friend officiant for them which made their ceremony very special and meaningful. After vows and exchanging rings, they were officially Mr & Mrs!
Once we were done with photos the couple was ready to join their guest and have the party they had been planning on and let me tell it was a party! This whole group was very much into dancing and from Kristin & Tanner’s first dance to Ed Sheeran’s Perfect (seriously this song was written about them) to the last dance it was such a great part at Historic 1625 Tacoma Place. Congratulations again to Kristin & Tanner it was such a wonderful wedding to be part of!
