Every time I finish a wedding, engagement or portrait session I have a little bit of anxiety and a whole lot of excitement. I seriously get high with excitement when I am doing a photography and also while I’m editing and this engagement session is giving me a whole lot of excitement so much that I am writing this blog post at 12:19am because I know I won’t sleep till I do. I am literally so excited, these two came my way after they saw Kari & Will’s stunning wedding at Red Cedar Farm last month. See Jaymee & Tommy were in Kari and Will’s wedding as members of the bridal party and they were so impressed they asked me if I could photograph their fall wedding coming up. Thankfully the stars aligned and I had their date open then we started planning their engagement session! So Jaymee asked me how far I was willing to travel for it and I said well as long as I can get home the same day I am game for whatever. So then Jaymee told me about her family’s property out on the Olympic Peninsula and really thought that would be a great spot for their engagement session. Jaymee told me also there was Rocky Brook Falls near the property too and it would be a great place to go too! As soon as she said waterfalls I was hooked and super excited for their Olympic Peninsula engagement session.
On the morning for their session the weather in Tacoma was perfect but driving up to the Olympic Peninsula was 1.5 hours away so there was a chance the weather could be different than in Tacoma. As I drove up I noticed more clouds and even drove through a few rain showers but not matter what we were going to do this engagement session. Well I met Jaymee & Tommy in Brinnon, WA then followed them to her family’s property on the Dosewallips river outside Brinnon. After driving for a while we hit a gravel road and I started to get really excited. As soon as we got to the property the clouds broke and we had sun, I was literally on cloud nine! I am beyond excited for these two’s wedding in September it’s really going to be a blast and I can’t wait!
Aw! My grandma used to take me and my sister to rocky brook falls in the summer

Beautiful! Love the waterfalls at Olympic Peninsula and I am so glad the weather worked out! I look forward to seeing their wedding photos!
That is one gorgeous location on the Olympic Peninsula for an engagement session! And that waterfall!! This couple has to be thrilled they ran into you at a wedding. They already know how you work, and they know they will get beautiful wedding images, just as they have beautiful engagement images!
I already commented on a ton of these on Facebook but I love all of them! The light here was perfection!
