Jennifer & Brett’s wedding at Sole Repair on Capitol Hill was such a great way to start my June off. It was a beautiful day some clouds in the sky and some sun but not too warm, it was such a perfect day for a wedding. The couples had gotten ready at the Sorrento Hotel a few blocks away from Sole Repair and that’s where they decided to do their first look. After a few photos, we headed over to Sole Repair where I was so excited to see the space & the couples envision for the day. Jennifer & Brett had told me their theme of their wedding was Tropical, Rustic, Bohemian … Now those 3 words could be wedding themes on their own but putting them together as one big theme got me excited to see how they were going to pull it off. After I saw all the decor and the flowers and their cake it all tied together very nicely!
Another reason I loved their wedding was their ceremony, Jennifer had informed me that her 90-year-old grandmother was going to be walking her down the aisle which was beyond sweet and really cute. I also loved that Brett did his vows twice once in English and in Mandarin Chinese to surprise Jennifer’s family. After I do’s then it was time to make it official with rings and a kiss! The couple decided to keep their food casual too with 2 different kinds of sliders, grill cheese sandwiches & french fries! Even with all that yummy food, I think the best part was their cakes, they got 3 different kinds of cakes from the most amazing place Cakes of Paradise which included a guava cake that I had 2 pieces of since it was so amazingly good!
I hope to head to Sole Repair again it’s such a fun and unique venue in Seattle! Congratulations to Jennifer & Brett thank you so much for letting me be part of your amazing wedding!
