This wedding at Suncadia Resort was one the weddings I was looking forward to due to the location and a place I have never shot before. Charles and Amy’s engagement session was in the mountains and I felt it was a great way to intro into their wedding. As most of you know Washington State has been dealing with some very bad wildfires and thankfully the fires weren’t near the Suncadia Resort but on Amy and Charles’ wedding day the smoke was pretty much covering the entire state of Washington making everything very hazy and smokey especially for this location. It made for an interesting look to the photos and in some case people ended up looking orange or pink due to the sun shining through the smoke. It was both amazing and frustrating on the editing side for me. In the end I’m so happy with how their photos came out and I am so excited to share them with the world. It also made for a pretty amazing sunset Enjoy!

That wedding ring photo! Wow! What a beautiful place Suncadia Resort is. It’s the perfect backdrop for a wedding.
What a beautiful Suncadia Resort wedding! I know the smoke was terrible, but it sure did add an artistic element to the wedding portraits. And that ring shot…amazing!, gorgeous work!
Jenny, your weddings are amazing and Charles and Amy’s was just another example of just how talented you are. Your posing, lighting and attention to details are amazing. It doesn’t hurt that the Suncadia Resort was the perfect vendue for this Washington wedding either! Great work!
What a gorgeous mountain setting for a wedding! Love that first look and the emotion on the bride, as well as the stunning ring shot! I think the overall haziness from the fires really worked well and gives an atmosphere to your images.
I love your eye for detail! This wedding at Suncadia Resort was gorgeous and you did an amazing job showing that through your photos. And I think you’re right, the smoke in the air added a little extra something to the photos. I think my favorite are the First Look series. I am a hopeless romantic and I always love photos where the true emotion shows through. Great job!

That last photo is breathtaking. Suncadia Resort sure has some of the most gorgeous sunsets. And I second the ring shot. Would you mind sharing what lens you used? It’s so sharp.
