Earlier this week I met up with Sadie & Kevin at Five Mile Drive & Owen’s Beach here in Tacoma at Point Defiance park for their Tacoma engagement session. Sadie & Kevin were my first engagement session of 2016 and one of my couples I am also documenting their wedding this summer. Sadie & Kevin had their first date at Owen’s Beach so I felt it was very fitting we part of their engagement session there. Sadie really wanted to have a very woodsy session to go with their Boho themed wedding they are having. I had scouted a couple of places that I thought would be very fitting for the look they were wanting. The end product was nothing short of perfection and I am so excited to share them on their blog.

Although this Tacoma engagement session speaks for itself with the beauty and emotions throughout the gallery, there is also something to be said about the awe-inspiring trees at Point Defiance Park. The sheer magnitude of the size of the trees in comparison to this couple makes for a great conversation piece. I love the golden hour light as well. Impressive set of images!

My favorites are the ones at dusk with the sun glaring through the trees in the corner of the photo. So perfect!
Jenny, this is one amazing engagement session. The trees, lakes, woods, and this couple is so stunning. Tacoma was the most amazing location for this bride to be who wanted a woodsy location for the engagement session. I can’t wait to see the photos you capture from their summer wedding this year, if it is anything like this they will have the most gorgeous wedding.
