This is my 3rd wedding at Canterwood Golf & Country Club in Gig Harbor, Washington.  Alyssa & Jake had their wedding planned for over a year and loved the idea of having their wedding in Gig Harbor where they live and Canterwood Golf & Country Club is a great backdrop for a wedding.

We did their engagement session in November 0f 2015 so they could have them in time for their save the dates. Then this spring I found out that Alyssa & Jake were expecting their first child and he would be due in November so just a few months before their big day. This wasn’t going to change a thing and they were so excited to have him be part of their wedding.

When the big day came and we did their first look Jake’s reaction to seeing Alyssa in her dress was so special, he couldn’t take his eyes off her. Some of my favorite photos were during their ceremony where Jake made Alyssa laugh her reactions were awesome.

I was so honored to be part of Alyssa & Jake’s wedding. It was filled with so much love and their couples portraits we did at golden hour are seriously so beautiful!!!!! The ones where Jake puts his head on Alyssa’s belly are so beautiful.
