Michelle and Spencer’s intimate wedding at Lake Crescent was such a great day! If you remember their engagement session and how beautiful that turned out I was so excited for their wedding day at a place I absolutely love! One of the reasons I love the Pacific Northwest so much is because it’s the only place I know that has mountains to the sea. And I love the Olympic peninsula so much we hope to move out that way in our later years.

Since covid was putting restrictions on the number of people that could attend a wedding and no receptions Michelle and Spencer decided to move their wedding from a traditional venue to Lake Crescent with just their immediate families there. The couple also planned a first look which we did in the woods between the lodge and their ceremony location.

Michelle looked absolutely stunning in her Stella York dress from I Do Bridal in Seattle. After their portraits, it was time for the ceremony. They found a private spot on the lake for the ceremony. After a beautiful ceremony where Spencer carried his wife back down the aisle, we did the family portraits and a few toasts.

The last thing was the golden hour portraits. Michelle really wanted portraits at the dock right in front of the Lake Crescent Lodge but earlier in the day it was pack with kids swimming and jumping into the water. So the evening was a perfect time for us to head over for their Mr and Mrs portraits.
