I have to say I am very thankful I had couples that chose to do elopements this year because Covid sure pulled the rug out of so many weddings this year. Morgan and Connor’s Mount Rainier elopement happened on the most beautiful summer day! The couple had their immediate families and Morgan’s best friend at their elopement.

Just a few days before I was at Mount Rainier for another elopement and it was very cold and Mount Rainier was hiding behind some clouds so I felt very lucky the couple got so lucky with the weather.

The couple decided to have their ceremony at a spot near Longmire the same spot has Lauren & Brett and Janae & Kyle had their ceremonies at Mount Rainier. But first, the couple did a first look at the cabin they were staying at then we did a few portraits in the woods before heading over to the ceremony location. The couple exchanged gifts Morgan gave Connor cufflinks that had special meaning to them. Connor got a stamp from the National parks with their date on it. Connor was also wearing a tie that was the topographical layout of Mount Rainier which was so cool!

For the ceremony Connor’s cousin who is a pastor officiated for the couple. He included a few gifts for each of them, an old camera for Connor as he loves photography and a softball mitt for Morgan as softball and sports, in general, are very important to her.

Morgan and Connor also did personal vows and exchanged rings, then they were announced as Mr & Mrs!!!  After some family portraits, we headed up to Paradise for the couple’s portraits! Morgan was wearing a beautiful flowy dress from The Sentimentalist in Atlanta, Georgia and she became an expert at flowing her dress during their portraits!

Thankfully since the couple did their elopement on a Monday the park wasn’t busy and we could go to lots of popular spots with little or no crowds even though it was a beautiful sunny day during wildflower season!

Thank you Morgan and Connor it was such an honor to be part of your elopement at Mount Rainier! I hope you cherish your photos for many many years!
