In October of 2019, I headed to the Pickering Barn in Issaquah, Washington. Sarah & Collin were having an autumn wedding! And they delivered their look perfectly! From Collin’s suit to the colors in their flowers to the decor of their reception. Pickering Barn is a very unique venue. It’s a barn but it’s a barn that has lots of different locations within its grounds. Sarah & Collin were having a very intimate wedding compared to some of my other weddings. So they kept all the parts of their wedding in the hay barn in Pickering Barn.
Having a wedding in October you have to take the change of the weather might not be in your favor but thankfully we lucked out with no rain during their portraits which was wonderful! The couple’s first look was so pretty with a beautiful green backdrop of trees and shrubs. After their first look, we headed around the garden on the backside of the Pickering Barn. Even though we were at the end of the season of the garden it was still so beautiful with tall grass!
After all their portraits it was time for the ceremony. The couple has their parents standing up with them which was beyond sweet! Another fun moment was the couple’s first dance. It was a fast choreographed dance which was so much fun!!!! The night ended with all the guests dancing the night away which was so much fun to capture! I was so honored to be part of Sarah and Collin’s wedding at Pickering Barn and I am heading back there in 2021!
